中国生物化学与分子生物学会农业生物化学与分子生物学分会理事,四川省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事。从事微生物酶的分子进化,酶工程及其应用,金龙胆草资源评价及其次生代谢物质开发。主持国家自然科学基金项目1项,四川省科技厅支撑项目2项,国际合作项目2项,应用基础项目3项,主研国家科技部“十五”科研项目各1项。在国内外学术刊物发表论文100余篇,其中SCI收录30余篇。主持“基于易错PCR技术提高内切葡聚糖酶的活性的方法”和“一种利用SCAR技术鉴别金龙胆草及其混淆品的SCAR引物及其方法”获国家发明专利。2015年主持的“新型饲用植酸酶和纤维素酶的创制及其应用”获得四川省科技进步三等奖。共招收博士生6名,硕士生32名。
